After being rescued by climbers from the sea, Terrence Walker was found to have a broken ankle.

S.O. Dave Jackson, D.S.O. Graham Hale, Jeff Beare, Roy Coatman, Richard Hatfield, Beverly Hicks, Colin McClary, John Olds, Malcolm Williams and Chris Wood were paged to recover the casualty.

He was stretchered and recovered then airlifted to Treliske hospital.
