Chris Wood, Naomi Gorvin and Richard Hatfield were tasked to check a report of a 6ft plastic "Sports Yak" type dingy ashore at St Loy Cove.

The dingy was heavily dented and damaged and had probably been at sea for some time. It was assumed that it had been washed overboard from a fishing boat or broken its moorings in bad weather.
