Station Officer Dave Jackson and Colin McClary were called to investigate the actions of a surfer who was verbally abusive to the Sennen Cove ILB crew who were reacting to a call from Falmouth MRCC who had received a call from a member of the public that the surfer was in difficulties and very far out.

Once ashore, the surfer was spoken to and it was made clear that the Lifeboat crew were only doing their job and a simple "I'm OK thanks" would have been all that was required.
