1555hrs. Called to Lamorna cove where concerned members of the public reported seeing a swimmer some distance off shore and thought he may be in trouble.

A search was made of the area and reports from members of the public who were on the footpath said they saw someone swimming around Carn Du. The Penlee ILB was tasked and asked to search an area from Mousehole to Lamorna but nothing was found. Later reports of a swimmer entering the sea at Mousehole was checked out and it was found out that the person did the long swim on a regular basis and was ok.
