R Hatfield and G Beare while on patrol were called to Lamorna to investigate persons in a two meter inflateable dingy and not in control due to possibly lack of experience and an off shore wind the police were also on scene, they hailed the dingy with a loud hailor to come back to shore, once back the dingy was dragged out of the water and the occupants were warned of the hazards of tide and wind.
