The team were called out to Porthcurno beach where a member of the public had reported a swimmer had gone missing. The SAR helicopter R193 and the Sennen Cove ILB were also tasked and after a long and intensive search, it was found that several people had seen a swimmer come out of the sea and leave the beach.

It was then decided that this was a false alarm with good intent and all search teams were stood down.
