SO  D Jackson, DSO G Hale C Hale and J Seaward were called to investigate a report of a red flare sighted between Gwennap Head and the Logan Rock by a member of the public who was in St Buryan, after liasing with the watchkeeper at the N C I Gwennap Head and doing a search of the area nothing was found.
