Team called out to search for a missing woman after receiving a report from a worried husband.

The husband and his wife were walking from Lands End to Porthcurno. Around the Nanjizal area the wife took the inland route and her husband continued along the coastal path, not noticing that his wife was no longer with him.

As Porthcurno was the agreed end of their walk, the man waited for the arrival of his wife and became worried when she did not arrive.

The team split into search parties and set off to scour the cliffs and the mobile was sent to Lands End with the man to check that his wife had not returned to their car.

Shortly after arrival at Lands End the woman was spotted walking towards the car and the search was called off.

The couple were on holiday from Germany.
