The team were tasked to search for a surfer reported to be in trouble off Porthcurno Beach by two members of the public.

The surfer was not visible in the water when the team arrived so a search was initiated from Porthcurno to Logan Rock. R192 was tasked to carry out an air search.

In a short time the surfer was found after he had ascended dangerous cliffs to avoid being caught and his embarrassment being made public.

He refused to give his name or any personal details and ran off to the carpark and drove off!
