Three canoeists caught in the tide at Sennen Cove and were in great danger.
Two were recovered by the Sennen Cove Lifeboat and one managed to clear the rip tide and paddle safely to shore

While working on a roof in Praa Sands, Roy Coatman saw that the Porthleven team were having difficulties with radio communications from the beach where they were dealing with a seriously injured casualty.
Roy had his CG handheld radio with him and relayed all messages from the rescue team to Falmouth CG co-ordination centre.
