Following a report of a body boarder caught in a rip current off Gwenver Beach the team were tasked to investigate.

While the team proceeded an ex Lifeguard had jumped in and brought the man back to shore safe and well.

It turned out that the man was a non swimmer and was originally with a group of students. His 'so called' mates had left him alone in the water and left the beach.
