Both Lands End and Penzance rescue teams were called to proceed to Lamorna Cove by Falmouth Coastguard after receiving a report that a fishing vessel had gone aground on 'Half Tide Rocks' in the cove.
Men from both teams were lowered to the bottom of the cliff in case the crew had to abandon ship and swim ashore.
Penlee lifeboat and Inshore lifeboat were also tasked along with the Coastguard tug 'Anglian Prince'. As the tide rose after aproximately 9 hours on scene 'Anglian Prince' towed the vessel 'Jacoba' off the rocks and into Newlyn harbour.
