17 00hrs,
Called to search for young woman who had got herself lost in amongst some thick gorse and bracken. She was walking the coastpath with two friends and decided to do a bit of bouldering and after a while could not go any further and decided to rejoin her friends and tried to make her way through the thick gorse and bracken and became lost and frightened, luckily her mobile phone had an emergency signal on it and was able to contact Falmouth Coastguard who managed to get a rough idea were she was and kept her talking to calm her down.
R193 was also tasked to assist in the search. Team members located her friends who by this time had her in view some distance away. After trying to fight through the gorse and hawthorne, a virtually impossible task, it was decided to ask R193 to recover her which they did and dropped her safetly in a field nearby safe and well and soon re united with her friends.
