10 52. Called out to Sennen Cove, where a family down on holiday from Notts, they were on the beach and  the children decided to go into the sea and got into difficulty, a friend of the family and the father of the children entered the sea to rescue them, which at the time was quite rough,the Sennen Cove ILB was tasked and quickly on scene and recovered two persons one being the casualty the other the family friend, the second family member a young boy  came ashore  on the beach unhurt but in shock, the father was caught in a rip current and was washed someway along sometimes dissapeared  from view, he eventually managed to come ashore near Gwenver, and was met by team member Les Taskis who took him back to the mobile and re united him with his son, both were put in the mobile  and given blankets to get warmed up, then taken to the Lifeboat station and were all then re united, all were lucky to have survived.
