The
whole walk is expected to take just over 12 months.The
Jubilee Sailing Trust will benefit from all the money collected as the walk
progresses and from the auction at the end.
The route taken and the whole idea of the walk was inspired by the book 'The Sea on Our Left' by Richard and Sally Hunt.
The aim is not only to raise funds but to raise the profile of the Jubilee Sailing Trust, a charity which enables people of all ages and abilities to sail on two specially designed tall ships, the Lord Nelson and the Tenacious.
