March 15 1914
Two Coastguards, Arthur Oddy and Sydney Sworne were awarded the Silver Medal for entering the surf at Whitesands Beach and rescuing survivors from the wrecked Trifolium.
December 31 1919
St. Just and Sennen Teams rescued the crew of 27 from the steamer Ravenshoe, which ran aground near Carn Gloose.
June 30 1929
L.S.A. team assembled and proceeded to Cape Cornwall where the steamer Ixia was aground on the Venees, assistance not required as her crew rowed ashore in there own boats.

During the Second World War, Auxiliaries helped to maintain lookout watch at Pedn Men Du.
